LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on 30th December 1984 is an American professional basket ball player who represents the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). He is known as King James he is widely considered one of the greatest basketball players ever and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player ever. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships, four NBA MVP Awards and the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has two Olympic Gold medals. James has the highest points in the playoffs and has the second highest number of career points and is the seventh player with the most career assists. James is part of the NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. As a total, James has played in 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. This includes eight straight from 2011 to 2018. In 2021, James was named to be part of the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022, he became the very first player to ever in NBA history to accumulate at least 10,000 career points rebounds and assists. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located in his home town in Akron Ohio and was heavily in the news media for his potential as an NBA superstar. He was a top pick for the Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the number one pick of the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. He quickly became one of league's top athletes, winning the NBA MVP in both the years 2009 and 2010. James was a free agency in 2010, after he failed to win championships with Cleveland. The decision to quit Cleveland to join Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent moves in sports history.
