
Lauren Zoe Hernandez, a U.S. artistic gymnast, was born on June 9 on the 9th of June, 2000. In her first year as a senior gymnast, she was on the U.S. women ?Ts team in gymnastics. The team competition saw the U.S. win gold. Hernandez received the silver medal at the balance beam individual event. [3] In late 2018 Hernandez began her training again and expressed an interest in returning to U.S. women ?Ts gymtic for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. Hernandez was not able to qualify for the Olympic Gymnastics Trials. In addition to gymnastics, Hernandez has appeared on season 23 of Dancing with the Stars in 2016where she took home the competition with her partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Hernandez played the lead role in the debut season of American Ninja Warrior Junior as the on-course reporter. She was also featured in the role of Valeria in the Nickelodeon animated miniseries Middle School Moguls. She is also the author of I Got This: To Gold and Beyond (New York Times Bestseller) and She's Got This (Kids Book).
