Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American artist, actress and vocalist (born on the 28th of April, 1967). Wuhrer's career began as she was still in her teens. Her most notable role is Maggie Beckett, an actress in the film Sliders; and her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble), who works as a payroll accountant and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). She has 3 siblings. Kari began acting at the Wooster School aged thirteen, and went into drama school at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari was first introduced to acting at 13 and got her first big break in 1987 when she appeared on MTV Remote Control.
