Mena Alexandra suvari born February 13, 1979 in America, is an actor also a fashion designer, and model. After beginning her career as a model she soon began acting as a guest on 90's TV shows like Boy Meets World and High Incident. In 1997 she debuted as an actor in the film Nowhere. In American Beauty and American Pie the actress gained more recognition for her performances. In 2000, she was in American Pie alongside American Pie co star Jason Biggs. She then played the main part in Sugar & Spice (2000). The film also featured her in the 2002 acclaimed independent drama Spun as well as the 2004 action feature Trauma. Also, she starred in HBO series Six Feet Under. The show was an instant hit during 2004. In 2005, the Screen Actors Guild honored her as one of the most outstanding stars. In 2008 she was cast in several films which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the film adaptation to The Garden of Eden. Suvari was a Lancome Paris Adaptive model and Lancome Paris cosmetics print ad girl has featured in numerous fashion and lifestyle magazines, such as Vogue. Suvari has been a loyal campaigner for and a supporter of the renowned African relief organisation, the African Medical and Research Foundation.
