The Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California when she was 5 years old and grew up in Orange County. Her breakthrough came in acting after graduating from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas was a small part in NCIS and Leverage. She then landed the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless. Following her departure from the soap-opera in 2016, the actress landed a recurring role on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. The model, proficient in four different languages, has since appeared in The Brave and The Green Ghost as Hannah Rivera. She also played in the Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and the year 2020 Pernas was portrayed by Lexi Vaziri as part of Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly confirmed that Pernas and Justin Hartley were dating in May of 2020. It was revealed that Chrishell Stause (the spouse of the This Is Us actor) was able to break up with him in the month of November and Pernas began dating Hartley. Pernas Hartley And Pernas Hartley were secretly married in the month of May 2021.
