Lucy-Liu
Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and vocalist. An attractive, clever and skilled actor, she's an example to Asian actors who want to make it big in Hollywood. The early successes of her were boosted by her appearance on a few popular series. She played the evil Ling Woo. Following a dramatic rise in her popularity, she landed roles on big screens like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. She then delivered an outstanding performance as Japanese criminal lord O'RenIshii, in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill Volume 1. In the same period she appeared in box office failures, including Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she became voice actor in animated films, including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia as well as other smaller-screen parts, did not achieve any success. Southland is a highly praised crime drama - helped establish Liu's status as a top actress. Liu picks her roles with care in order to ensure she is not typecast in a competitive industry. Although she is extremely proud of her culture, she does not let that limit her creativity.
