Sheryl Underwood is an American television personality and comedian, is best known as the host on The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. She was born and raised in Little Rock. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She spent most her childhood caring for her younger sibling Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. She faced a lot of issues with her mother when growing to. Sheryl states that one time she cut her father's hair due to his proximity. Sheryl was a soldier following her graduation from college. But, she was interested in comedy. She was chosen as the first female winner in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. She started her TV profession in the year 1992, when she appeared as a frequent participant in the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as a host on the TV talk show Oh Drama! In 2011, she's a cohost of the talk show. Also, she appears in fictional roles in popular shows such as Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
