Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She was a television host for the daytime talkshow The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl lives in a family that is turbulent. She spent the majority of her growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie suffering from an illness called polio. As she grew older, there were many arguments between her mother and father. Sheryl alleges that, at one point she was stabbed by her mother's father after he got too close to her. Sheryl was a college graduate when she and joining the army, was an active participant in. However, her love for comedy was always there. She became the first female winner of the contest Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She started her TV career in 1992 after she appeared as a frequent participant for the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. Presently, she is a guest co-host for the Talk talk show since 2011. She has also been in fictional roles on shows like Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
